Even for the experienced trader, a good set of Training Materials can be invaluable however finding a useful set of Training Materials can prove very difficult. Both as an observer and participant (purchaser), I've noticed over the past 15-20 years that as the number and variety of training course/material has become available, so has the quality declined. Solid, fact-based information has been replaced with a glitzy, dreadful array of Video, DVD and endless variations of the multi-media theme, all offering form over substance.
I believe the core message itself is not that difficult: 'how do I analyse and then how do I trade' but what is required is a coherent logical format that offers propositions and mechanisms that are repeatable and most importantly testable. Due to the global events of recent years, serious efforts has been applied to recast the considerable training materials acknowledging these extreme events. As such it is expected that the training materials will be available in 2011 (or late 2012).
