The PSAR stop loss tool is designed to place a trailing stop from the starting point. The calculation is too complex to enter into here, however the PSAR tool will stop calculating when the stop loss level has ben breached.
A new point is always greater than the previous, and as each point is plotted, an acceleration factor comes into play, thus giving the drawing a parabolic shape when plotted over a long distance.

- Select the button for PSAR Stop loss from the Toolbar.
- Move the mouse pointer over the starting position for the Line. This may be either a high or a low price.
- Press the left mouse button and the Stop Loss values will be calculated from that point forward.

The property editor as well as other functions may be accessed by holding the mouse pointer over the indicator line and Clicking the Right Mouse button. A popup menu will appear (see picture).
The user may then open the Indicator Property Editor, move the Line above or below other indicators or delete the Line from the Chart. |

The property editor as well as other functions may be accessed by holding the mouse pointer over the indicator line and Clicking the Right Mouse button. You can also access the Property Editor directly by 'Double Clicking' on the line. All the drawing tools share the same property editor allowing the user to alter the following properties:
- Line Color
- Line Width
- Toggle Line or Box display
- Label Font.
After alteration, the user has the ability to set these settings as default for all future lines drawn on the page. |
