Templates are a method whereby the look of a Chart (not including background color) can be saved into a separate display file. When a chart is open, you have the ability to apply a previously saved Template which will automatically alter the chart appearance to that of the saved template. It should also be noted that you can also save Indicators and Oscillators as part of the template. You will find more detailed information in the Getting Started manual. |

Saving a template has been designed to be as easy as possible. Simply 'Right Click' over the chart surface and select 'Save as Template'. You will then be prompted to provide a name for your template ( I suggest that you choose something meaningful to yourself) and press Save. That's all there is to it. You have now saved the layout of the chart. |
Applying a template has been designed to be as simple as Saving a template. Simply Right Click' over the Chart surface and select Apply template from the Popup menu. You will then be present with a list of templates that you have saved previously. Simply select one from the list, and the layout saved in the template will be applied to the chart... Colors Style Indicators etc. |
