Time Tools - Time Division - Solar
The Solar Time Frequency tool is designed to highlight future time zones based upon the natural divisions of a year. That is, dividing the year into degrees of time, where one year represents 360 degrees. To do this effectively an Ephemeris is supplied with the Gannalyst Pro 5 application. By using an Ephemeris, it becomes possible to analyze market movements using Real time, instead of the artificial 'Clock' time that we use in our everyday lives.

Referring to the graphic, we simply select a point in time (usually a high or a low) and the Tool will automatically calculate the future dates based upon the underlying frequency (in degrees). Multiple frequencies may be selected at the same time.

Version 5 introduces the concept of Highlights. This allows the user to define translucent colored regions between user defined regions as can be seen in the image above. The highlights are independent of the Frequencies, allowing the display to show both Frequencies and Highlights simultaneously, or just the highlighted regions.

Usage

  1. Select the button for drawing Solar Degree Frequencies from the Toolbar.
  2. Move the mouse pointer over the starting position for the Line. This may be either a high or a low price.
  3. Press the left mouse button, and keeping it pressed down, drag the mouse pointer to the desired end point and release the left mouse button.
