The Fibonacci Day/Bars extensions tool provides the ability to select a point in time on the Chart and then project forward the location of the number of days/Bars according to the fibonacci sequence of numbers. There are a number of preset values, however the User can change these to anything they like. The tool however is isolated from the standard Bar extension tool so that its easier to apply the Fibonacci sequence with 1 key stroke.
Referring to the chart below, we simply select a point in time ( usually a high or a low ) and the Tool will automatically calculate the future dates based upon the underlying number of days/bars defined. |
|
Version 5 introduces the concept of Highlights. This allows the user to define translucent colored regions between user defined regions as can be seen in the image above. The highlights are independent of the Extension levels, allowing the display to show both Extension levels and Highlights simultaneously, or just the highlighted regions. |
