The Price Squaring tool takes a specific price (usually a major high or a low ) and then makes projections forward and backward based up a set of user-defined divisions. This tool is best used when doing medium to long term forecasting as well as a confirmation tool when narrowing in on a price and time.
Referring to the graphic, we can place the Price-Price Squaring tool on a major high or low. This gives us a price reference point, and as can be seen on tpe graphic, the Price-Price Squaring tool will divide this range into the user specified divisions. The greater the Price then obviously, the greater the divisions are apart. |
|
Version 5 introduces the concept of Highlights. This allows the user to define translucent colored regions between user defined regions as can be seen in the image above. The highlights are independent of the Divisions, allowing the display to show both Divisions and highlights simultaneously, or just the highlighted regions as shown in this display. |
