The Volume Rate of Change % Indicator (VROC%) is similar to the VROC in that it measures the momentum of the Volume in the market. However the difference being is that it reports as a percentage of change, thus displaying the relative volume heartbeat of the market.

As can be seen on the chart, the volume spikes become readily visible when taken in context to the rest of the market. Whilst the average can be seen to represent the common heartbeat for the market, it is the 'heart attacks' that become visible when extreme points are made. |
