- Select the Ephemeris Option from the Tools menu.
- Enter the Start Date ( time is optional - 00:00 being midnight )
- Enter the End Date ( again, Time is optional )
- Select the Frequency : Days Hours or minutes.
- Select the Location ( Note This is the location of the Futures or Stock Exchange )
- Select whether to use Topocentric calculation ( i.e. use the Location selected) or geocentric where calculation are done as from Earth center.
- Press the Create Ephemeris button. Depending on the Date Range and the frequency time taken to calculate will vary greatly.
- The Window will now display the Date/Time and the conversion to Decimal degrees. The March Equinox being 0 degrees.
- Select a line from the grid and press the Calculate Future Dates button to get the relevant degrees forward.
When using this tool, it is best to remember that these calculations are very intensive and that selecting a large Time frame with a small frequency: 2 months with a 1 minute Frequency may Hang your computer.
