The Chart is capable of displaying price data in 3 main formats: Bar, Candlestick and Line. Right Clicking on the Chart Page to select from the following options :
- Alter Display Properties
- Open the Chart Style Property Editor
- Save the chart as a graphic image
- Save the appearance as a Template
- Apply a Template
- Export the Chart to a text file
- Print the Chart
- Change the Chart Style ( e.g. Bar to Swing)
Right Clicking on the Chart Bars will also display the Chart Style Property Editor. |
The Chart Title appearance may be altered using the Chart Property editor. |
The Chart Page Toolbar runs along the top edge of each Portfolio window and gives the user the option to change the Chart appearance independently of other charts that be be displaying at the same time. Each action from these options will only effect the current active page. For a more detailed view see 'Chart Page Toolbar' |
The horizontal axis will display the dates of the Chart Style that you have chosen. You can alter its appearance via the Chart Property Editor. |
The Vertical axis will display the price levels of the Chart Style that you have chosen. You can alter its appearance via the Chart Property Editor. The Axis can also be dragged horizontally to any location within the Chart window. Right Clicking the mouse over the Axis will bring up the Axis Property Editor. From here you can set the Axis Minimum and Maximum values as well as set the number of Decimal places to be displayed for the Chart Data. |
The Chart scroller is positioned at the bottom of each chart page and is used to move the chart data in and out of view. Moving the scroller to the Right end limit will display the end of the Chart . Moving the scroller to the Left End limit will display the beginning of chart . |

The Chart Splitter only appears when indicators such as Volume or RSI are selected. The Splitter may be dragged up or down using the mouse. When dragging the Splitter, the chart dimensions automatically resize. A button is provided on the Chart Page toolbar to make the Splitter disappear. |
The Status bar is used to give information about the data point that is directly under the mouse pointer at the time. It also gives information related to the chart ( not the data ). Data displayed is as follows:
- Data point Date
- Data Point High Value
- Data Point Low Value
- Data Point Open Value
- Data Point Close Value
- Mouse Point Chart Related Date Value
- Mouse Point Chart Related Price Value
- Currently Select Drawing Tool
Display of data is of course related to the Chart type being displayed:i.e. A line chart does not have an Open High or low values, just the close value. |
