Downloading Gannalyst Software Introduction Downloading Installing
Downloading Software from the Internet is a very easy and convenient way to receive new software as well as receiving updates to previously installed software. The following Downloading tutorial uses the Gannalyst Professional installation program ( InstallGannalystPro50.exe ) as an example. The Process is identical for all Gannalyst software.
Step 1
Once you have completed the pre-download registration details you will be prompted to Click on a link to commence the Download process. When the browser realises that an attempt is being made to download a file it will prompt you with a File Download dialog window. You can elect to choose 'Run' at this point, whereby the browser will download the installer and run it for you, or you can elect to press 'Save'. The following is based upon selecting the 'Save' option.

Step 2

After the File download dialog window you will be prompted with the Save As dialog window to save the file to your hard drive.

Step 3 (a) - If you have never downloaded from the Net before

If you don't consider yourself a PC novice go to Step Three(b). If however you have never downloaded software from the Internet before, then the best option is to select the Desktop as the download destination. The reason for this will become apparent when installing the software.

Step 3 (b) - For those comfortable with their PC ability

If you are reasonably confident using your PC and can confidently navigate the Folder structure using Windows Explorer then you can choose a Folder in which to download the Installation program.

Note. Don't forget the Folder where you downloaded it to !

Step 4
Once you have pressed the Save Button you will be presented with a dialog window showing the Installation program downloading to your hard drive.

Step 5
When the file has downloaded completely to your hard drive you will see the following window. This means that the download was a success.

You have now successfully downloaded the Installation Program.

Now go to the Installation instructions for information regarding installing your software on your PC.
